The Beginning

How it all began...

In-Dish is more than a restaurant – it is an invitation to discover Indian cuisine with new eyes (and palates). Founded by Sufian, a passionate restaurateur of the second generation, who wholeheartedly connects creative culinary art with traditional flavors and modern influences.

The story begins with a traditional inn that marked the first milestone of our family's history. After our family father had gained experience in the gastronomy and tourism industry throughout Austria for several years, everything started here: with traditional cuisine and the finest locally prepared farm food – so convincing that even Falco and Pavarotti were enchanted by it.

Today, In-Dish carries that spirit forward – blending India's rich culinary heritage with the elegance of Vienna's 1st district. Our kitchen and culinary offerings are constantly evolving, but the taste experience remains ever-present.

Passion Runs in the Family

Founded by Sufian, a second-generation restaurateur who grew up with the aromas of both Austria and India filling his home. His vision: to create a space where culinary traditions meet creative innovation.

Every dish at In-Dish is a reflection of that journey – from the tandoor to the table, from Mumbai to Vienna's elegant 1st district.
